Whiskey Lake is 50 kms or 35 miles north and west of Massey, Ontario. Massey is on highway 17 about three hours east of  Sault Ste. Marie and one hour west of Sudbury.

At Massey the directions are as follows :

1: Turn north at the only traffic light, continue past Chutes Provincial Park at the edge of town on highway 553.  Hwy 553 is a wide, well maintained gravel road that continues 22 miles (30 kms) to Bull Lake. At Bull Lake the road becomes highway 810 and continues north another 30 miles (50 kms) to Sauble Lake.

2: To reach Whiskey Lake continue past Bull Lake for 2 miles (5 kms) on Hwy 810. The road crosses a one lane, steel Bailey bridge and immediately forks. The right fork is Hwy 810 to Sauble Lake.

3: Turn left onto the Whiskey Lake road.  The Whiskey Lake road is 10 miles (17 kms) long and ends at Whiskey Lake. There are a few logging roads that lead off the Whiskey Lake road. The logging roads are narrower and less maintained than the wide, well graveled Whiskey Lake road. The road crosses another steel bailey bridge about 5 miles from the junction with highway 810 and skirts the edge of Conley Lake before reaching Whiskey Lake.
